Become a Happi Practitioner

Becoming A Practitioner

About

Want to work with a company on a mission to democratise mental health care and make it more accessible?

At Happiworkers, we envision a world where mental health care is accessible and culturally attuned to racialised communities in the workplace, prioritising their well-being.

Our mission is to reduce the inequities racialised communities face in accessing mental health support in the workplace.

We are currently bootstrapping and are assembling a carefully selected team of therapists and coaches eager to join an innovative technical solution that provides remote one-on-one sessions within their respective specialisations. This opportunity enables each practitioner to expand their practice while simultaneously transforming the emotional well-being of company employees.

Role

We're looking for individuals passionate about joining a movement to democratise mental healthcare, benefitting clients and practitioners. What sets us apart from other companies is our foundation in anti-racist practices. We understand your vital role in our mission, and at Happiworkers, we deeply value your contributions. That's why we provide expert clinical support, ongoing professional development, and competitive pay to empower you to become the best practitioner you can be.

As a Happiworkers Practitioner, you deliver high-quality coaching and/or therapy sessions to employees of companies partnered with Happiworkers. These sessions are conducted remotely via video calls, leveraging our online platform. You should feel comfortable using Happiworkers' technology to enhance your practice.

Our matching process will directly connect you to employees needing mental health support, eliminating the need for self-marketing. Your primary focus will be assisting employees in reaching their mental health goals by offering exceptional support and building lasting, trusting relationships with them.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting remote coaching and therapy sessions via video calls.
  2. Leveraging Happiworkers' technology tools to enhance your practice.
  3. Providing specialised support based on your expertise and specialisations.
  4. Building and maintaining trusting relationships with employees.
  5. Collaborating with Happiworkers to ensure a seamless support process.

Your dedication and expertise will play a crucial role in helping employees thrive in their mental well-being journeys.

As a Happiworkers Practitioner, your role will entail:

  1. Flexibility: You will be free to work remotely, allowing you to create your own schedule.
  2. Client Care: Providing consistent support to a regular group of clients, utilising evidence-based psychological therapies to assist them.
  3. Technology Integration: Leveraging our technology tools to streamline administrative tasks, enabling you to focus on your therapeutic work.
  4. Professional Collaboration: Building strong working relationships with our clinical team and actively participating in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Racial Equity and Anti-racism:

At Happiworkers, we are dedicated to cultivating an anti-racist and racially equitable team of practitioners. This commitment isn't just a recent development; it's deeply ingrained in our mission. It's essential for individuals to have the option to request sessions with practitioners who share their racial and cultural backgrounds, fostering a deeper understanding and connection.
